Well, I baked something red, so that means it's Valentine's Day. After completely failing to post anything seasonal over the last batch of holidays, I thought I'd get in the spirit & make some Valentine cavity factories. Not to mention I've finally stopped finding these little sprinkles in odd spots around my apartment after I last used them, so it was time to work them into a recipe again. Mission accomplished. They are, once again, EVERYWHERE. I'm renaming these "everywhere sprinkles". 

 Cookies:  
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 salt
1 T cocoa powder
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 T red food coloring
1/2 t white vinegar
1 t vanilla

[flour + sugar + baking soda + salt + cocoa] + [(oil + buttermilk + vinegar) + (egg + food coloring + vanilla)] = cookies.

Filling: 
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
2 T milk powder
4 cups powdered sugar
* some everywhere sprinkles.
